Darker evenings and colder mornings are upon us, which means one thing. Winter is near. The weather may be looking pretty dull, but that doesn’t mean that your skin has to too. Here are my go-to skincare products for keeping my skin healthy, hydrated and glowing throughout the cold winter months.
For Your Face
Deep Hydration
If you’re looking for a product to intensely hydrate your skin then Dr. Roebuck’s Ultimite Hydrating Serum (£51) at Selfridges may just do the trick. Dr. Roebuck’s pride themselves on using natural and ‘minimal ingredients with maximum results.’ I headed to Selfridges and picked up a personalised serum for my skin type and am in love (ask in store for details). I find that the serum also help add that dewy look to your skin if you’re going make up free.

With the sun well and truly hibernating (in the UK at least), we could all do with that little bit of help when it comes to achieving glowing skin. My current favourite tinted moisturiser is Olay Complete Care Everyday Sunshine Moisturising Cream (£9.99). I use this a few times each week to keep my tanned topped up during the colder months. I love this cream as it doesn’t leave streaks and looks super natural.

Nivea Soft Face Body Hands (£2.45) at Boots has been my favourite moisturiser for years and it is ridiculously cheap. You can use this moisturiser on the face, body and hands (hence the name), which means that it’s a great buy to pop in your bag or hand luggage for any travels!

For Your Body
Deep Hydration
Coconut oil has been my top body moisturiser for a long time now. I always go for the Vita Coco Coconut Oil (currently £8.50) at Boots. It’s raw, cold-pressed and organic, so no need to worry about any nasty chemicals. Coconut oil is so hydrating, it’s sure to satisfy any thirst skin.
Top Tip: Coconut oil is also great for an intense foot mask. Just massage onto your feet before bed, pop on your socks and cosy up. Your feet will feel silky soft in the AM.

Looking to up the tan without sunbeds or fake tanning? Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Natural Bronze Tan Lotion (£5.69) at Superdrug will do the trick. Apply once or twice daily for a natural bronzed look. I find that this can get a little streaky if you overdo it, but three-four days of application does the trick!

Not only is the Vaseline Intensive Care Body Lotion Cocoa Radiant (£3.65) at Boots cheap, it’s effective and smells delicious…
