Saturday 11th November, 2017. I took to the streets of Venice, California with Photographer Curtis Jehsta. I love to run, especially in the sunshine and this was the perfect morning to do just that. Wearing Puma.
Working with Johno MacCarthy was a dream. One of the most down-to-earth people that I’ve ever met and an amazing photographer at that. If you haven’t seen his work previously, then be prepared to start spotting it everywhere, as this guy has some serious talent and drive (the best combo).
We teamed up on a late summer weekend and shot away around the picturesque streets of Notting Hill. Here’s what we created…
This week I headed to the streets of Shoreditch, London, with my good friend, photographer and New Yorker, Dave Gershman.
Dave has recently been on a whirlwind tour of the world through his travel journalism (what can’t this guy do?!) and has stopped off in London as his final destination before travelling back to the Big Apple.
As a street photographer, Dave naturally wants to take pictures everywhere and anywhere- regardless of people’s willingness to have their photo taken- so it can definitely be interested when exploring the city with him. Likewise, it was also the perfect opportunity to get some snaps of my own, so that’s exactly what we did.
Taking over one cobbled Shoreditch backstreet, we turned the pavement into catwalk and began shooting away. Of course, being a street life photographer you have to be quick, so within a few clicks from Dave and an array of dramatic poses and struts from myself, we had all the content we needed. The weather is finally getting warmer (yippeee) so I’m throwing it back to a shoot that I did in the midst of last summer with London based camera genius, Luc Coiffait.
I recently shot with the wonderful Jun from my (super fab) London agency W Model Management. We wanted to create a story to show me, as I am and here are the results. Don’t forget to be who you want to be and definitely don’t be ashamed to show it to the world!
