Barry M Coconut Infusion Nail Paint

Nail varnish. Always a tricky one. If it’s not too thin, it’s too thick. Chips too easily. Dries way too slowly or worst of all, ruins your nails. Well, Barry M have brought something new to the table- a nail polish that is actually good for our nails (and does a nice job when it comes to consistency, lasting-power and dry time too)!

Using the one beauty product that I swear by, Coconut Oil, along with the ever-so-hydrating Coconut Water, they have developed an ingenious moisturising nail paint to help our nails look fabulous with or without polish. The special formula is designed to repair and nurture nails and the anti-oxidising properties of coconut help to remove impurities.

There are nine colours to choose from, all fairly soft pastel hues and named rather tropically. There’s the nude palette; Skinny Dip, Tiki Hut, Sunkissed and Star Fish. The pinks; Aloha and Flamingo. The blues; Laguna and Bikini and then my favourite lilac, Surfboard.

There’s no need for a topcoat, in fact, it actually works more effectively without! The varnish gets straight to work to nourish and strengthen nails with it’s coconutty goodness. I was impressed with how easy it was to apply- I don’t have the steadiest hand but somehow my nails looked salon-worthy- and it lasted a good four days without chipping at all.

If you want to give it a go for yourself you can shop them online for £4.99 each here. Let me know what you think! xx

Improve Your Health Today- I Am!

A few weeks ago, I was invited by a good friend of mine to an event with the only information being ‘it’s about some nutrition business- you’ll be interested.’ I wasn’t doing anything so thought I might as well go along and see what it was all about. Cutting what could be a very long story short, I’m now involved in something that’s super exciting (and healthy too, yayyy!).

So, what is it?

The company basically comprises of two products that can be used for weight loss, weight gain, muscle building and overall health (think glowing hair, skin and stronger nails).

The first are the shakes, which replace either one or two meals a day dependent on your body goals, and follow a healthy eating plan including snacks and meals. They’re really effective in particular for weight loss and are pretty easy to work into your day-to-day routine. Meaning that you can have them at work no problem!
The second product is the capsules- there are 3 different types, flooding your body with the nutrients of up to 26 different fruit and veg a day in one go! They act as a catalyst for weight loss as well as improved overall health; boosted immune system; improved skin, hair, nails… but most importantly they change the way your body perceives sugar and food and help you crave a healthier lifestyle.
The other products, including the bars and soft chewables are great snacks to help aid achievements of your goals even further. The whole point is to get you away from fad dietary changes, understanding what good food is and how to incorporate this into your lifestyle!
I really don’t want to bore you with all of the ins and outs and I definitely don’t want you to think that I’m trying to sell this to you. I just think that more people should know about it because it’s actually helped people that I know to see a difference in their body and health.

It sounds cheesy but these little products really can help you to achieve your goals. Whether they be weight gain, weight loss, toning, muscle building or simply just improving your general health and energy, this may be just what you need to enable you to finally see results. I’ve seen very real people (including ASOS work colleagues and now even my mum’s giving it a go) reap the benefits and have decided to give it a go myself! I will be trying the capsules to give me that extra energy and motivation that I need to further tone up and generally feel more healthy!

It might not be for you, but if you are interested in learning more or think that you might like to give one of the plans a go then please feel free to contact me at tigeress.kirby@gmail.com and I can send you over some information or even give you a quick call. xx
